Tracey Burley is Stonewall’s Chief Operating Officer since 1 April 2020 and will lead Stonewall until the new Chief Executive Officer starts.
Tracey brings a wealth of experience in supporting not-for-profits and public sector organisations to work more effectively in helping the communities they serve.
She has nearly 20 years of public service experience working at non-profit social enterprises, where she led on corporate strategy and operational improvement programmes.
Tracey also founded Pure Consulting in 2019 to help SMEs, charities and public sector organisations perform better through sustained change management work.
Since 2017, she was the Managing Director at Cognus Limited and a member of the company’s board of directors, where she managed the corporate direction and strategy of the organisation to focus efforts on making a difference to the lives of the children they worked with.
Previously Tracey was an Executive Director at CSW Group, a non-executive director and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Career Development Institute and a non-executive director of Careers England.
Tracey is not only committed to improving the lives of LGBT people but also to providing opportunities for children and young people. She has worked to support children and young people since 2002, continuing this work as a non-executive director of CSW Group.
She graduated from Henley Business School in 2018 earning her MBA and achieving a distinction whilst changing jobs and relocating from Cornwall to London, proving anything is possible with determination and hard work.
