Youth Pride events

Every year Stonewall hosts Youth Pride events, which are open to anyone who will be aged between 16 and 21 on the day.

This year we will be running Youth Pride events on:

  • Saturday 27 May - Birmingham Pride!

  • Saturday 8 July - Pride in London!

  • Saturday 25 August - Manchester Pride!

Our Youth Pride events are a chance to meet other young people and Stonewall staff, as well as being in the parade itself with thousands of other people. Stonewall's Youth Pride events bring you safely to some of the UK's biggest celebrations of LGBT communities, culture and activism!

We pay for your travel and we even give everyone who attends a free Stonewall t-shirt worth £15!

What happens at the Youth Pride events?

We meet at a nearby venue, register everyone and give you a free Stonewall t-shirt, before marching together in the parade with hundreds of other community groups and organisations.

Can I attend with my friends?

Of course! However, your friends must be aged 16-21 and will need to submit their own application form. Please note, we cannot guarantee that everyone who applies will be offered a space.

What if I want to come on my own and won't know anyone else there?

Absolutely no problem. Many people come to these events on their own each year and it’s a great chance to meet new people! We'll introduce you to each other and Stonewall staff will be there to chat to you at the event and during the Pride parade.

How do I get there?

If your application is successful, we'll email you all the details about the event, including the meeting time and place.

How old do you have to be to apply for a space?

These events are open to people who are aged 16-21 on the day. If you're under 18, we will require a signed consent form from your parent or legal guardian.

How can I apply for an event?

Applications will open soon. Follow Stonewall on Twitter and check this page to keep up to date with the application process.
