Get Involved
This is the section where you can find out about the different ways that you can get involved with Stonewall if you are a young person. Whatever level of involvement you’d like and whatever your skills and background, we’ll have an opportunity for you. From writing for our website and attending one-off events to taking part in our programmes, we have things to take part in throughout the year and very importantly, they are all free!
How to use this section
On the left you will find:
2012 Opportunities
These are all the things taking place this year that you can get involved with- simply click on each link to read about that opportunity.
Past Events
Things that happened last year so you can see what else we have done with young people and read reviews of some of our events.
Events Calendar
A calendar of events and other things of interest for LGB young people and their friends. If you are running an event open to LGB young people and would like us to promote it on our website then simply use the ‘Suggest an Event’ page to tell us all about it and once we’ve checked the details over, we’ll put it on the calendar for you. Also, if there is something coming up for example on TV that you think would be of interest to LGB young people then drop us a line about it at stonewallyouth@stonewall.org.uk and we’ll put it on the calendar so people don’t miss it!
Who can get involved with Stonewall
Some of our events are open to all young people and some are for lesbian, gay and bisexual young people and those who think they might be. There are also different age limits on our different events. You’ll be able to find out who can apply for different opportunities by reading about them.
